Welcome to Term 4.

We can't believe how fast the year is going! Term 4 has welcomed us back with lots of awesome experiences.
This Term are Topic Inquiry is all about CATS.
The Junior School went to St Margaret's college to watch a performance 'My cat likes to hide in boxes' based on the book by Eve Sutton.

The SPCA came to visit us and taught us how to take care of our pets and animals.

Rata made cat silhouettes with orange and black paper.
We cut out our cat shape and then glued them onto the edges of the paper.
Our cats are different shapes and sizes, some are small and some are big, some are fat and some are slender.

Meet my shape monster!

Last term the children loved reading the Big Book Monsters lunch. We did lots of learning around the story from different curriculum areas. As part of geometry the children had lots of fun creating their very own "Shape monster".  Come and have a read of the stories we wrote describing our monsters.
